In Hidden Figures, MIKAMO and Ajtony Csaba trace a bold path through contemporary sound. Schönberg’s concentrated intensity, Haas’s meditative explorations of color, Bailie’s imaginative sonic storytelling, and Petra Stump-Linshalm’s playful, rhythmically alert Hidden Figures come together in a concert at the crossroads of structure and freedom. Layers of sound, fragments of narrative, and the experience of travel and relocation are refracted through the ensemble’s precise yet flexible playing, turning the evening into a vivid, immersive listening journey.

The MIKAMO Central European Chamber Orchestra, founded in 2007 by graduates of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, is dedicated to living composers and to the still-evolving Central European musical tradition. MIKAMO regularly appears in major venues across Budapest, Vienna, Bratislava, and the wider region, treating each program as a carefully shaped artistic whole.
